Start-up culture on the rise

With the “Start-up Promotion North Friesland” program, the district of North Friesland, the business development agency and the Flensburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce support start-ups and those looking to set up a business through workshops, networking events, funding and business plan games. The best projects have now been honored by District Administrator Florian Lorenzen.

These are the best business ideas from the 2024 start-up camp

1st place – MoManufaktur Energy Systems (€5,000 from Nospa): Founder Kai Mommsen develops innovative small wind turbines for private households.

2nd place – Friesenfaser (€2,000): Birte Sartori and Rita Möller combine sustainable wool products with dyke protection and support for regional shepherds. 🐑

3rd place – ARTen EDEN (€1,000): Andý Hartmund and Julia Rau promote biodiversity with creative, sustainable products such as art prints and seed packets.
