A strong voice for the regional economy

“In order to develop Schleswig-Holstein into a sustainable business location, it is becoming increasingly important for the business development agencies to work together in cooperative forms, to deal with the issues of the future together and to actively position themselves for a business-oriented representation of interests with a strong voice in the state,” says the chairman of the association, Werner Kässens (KiWi).

“There is hardly any other area of society where the digital transformation is as evident as in the economy. Companies are increasingly facing up to innovative challenges, and the share of the digital economy, knowledge-intensive services and new technologies is growing in all sectors and regions,” emphasizes the deputy chairman of VdW.SH, Ulf Hahn, Managing Director of Wirtschafts- und Aufbaugesellschaft Stormarn (WAS).

“Innovations, good skilled workers and modern economic areas will be the drivers of competitiveness, value creation and growth in the future,” says the treasurer, Dr. Matthias Hüppauff (WFG NF). “As business development agencies, we can pave the way for this by creating the right framework conditions.”
