This year, we have launched a new format for all people who are new to North Friesland. “Ahoy Lieblingsland” invites new residents to take part in activities in the region. You can get to know like-minded people and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. We want to help our newcomers to settle in well in our region and anchor safely in their new home port.

After all, not everyone finds it easy to settle into their new place of residence straight away and some important information that locals take for granted is difficult for new residents to obtain.

We have already met seven times this year and have undertaken many typical North Frisian activities and visited exciting regional companies.

We kicked things off in May with a lovely breakfast in Husum’s Schlosscafe. Our job tester Basti didn’t miss the opportunity to be there in person to kick off the new format. The year then continued with great activities. These included a bike tour to Hamburg Hallig, lino printing at Pack & Schnack, a visit to Backensholzer Hof, amber cutting in Niebüll and a canal trip in Friedrichstadt. Many more activities will follow.

During the meetings, newcomers can network, ask the participants and the Moin Lieblingsland team any questions they may have and get off to a good start in Moin Lieblingsland.
