The event is part of the “Vocational Training Week Schleswig-Holstein” and is organized by FRAU & BERUF, the Nordfriesland Youth Employment Agency and the Nordfriesland Economic Development Agency.

There have never been as many people on earth as there are today and each individual is consuming more resources than ever before. But the earth’s natural resources are finite. You don’t have to be a scientist to understand that the economy and society are heading for a dead end in the long term if there is no rethink. The circular economy offers a profitable opportunity to combine economy and ecology. It can reduce material and energy costs and stabilize supply chains. Whether you are already familiar with this topic or not: with the Up2Circ project, our speaker Silke Schleiff will present a consulting approach and good examples to support small and medium-sized companies in particular in entering the circular economy.
